Dr. Emiliano Fiori

Dr. Emiliano Fiori is Research Fellow of Prof.dr. Christoph Markschies, Humboldt-Universität Berlin, in the project ”Wissenstransfer in den antiken christlichen Apokryphen” [Transfer of Knowledge in Ancient Christian Apocryphal Writings].

He received his PhD in 2010 from the University of Bologna and the École Pratique des Hautes Études, Paris, by defending his dissertation with the title ”Dionigi l’Areopagita e l’origenismo siriaco. Edizione critica e studio storico-dottrinale del trattato sui Nomi divini nella versione di Sergio di Reš‘aynā”. This dissertatioin was rewarded with the John Templeton Award for Theological Promise (2011).

He is editor of the fourth volume in the Beyond the Fathers series.
